The last day in Dubai was a bit more touristy… Well after a lazy session at the beach first, of course.
I didn’t get to ride the camel, haha.
We headed to Souk Madinat for lunch. Although the place is touristic, I really enjoy the calm and serene feeling you get there.
Admiring Burj al Arab while having a lunch is not too bad. We ate lebanese for the occasion.
After that we went around and got to the beach to have a closer look at Burj al Arab.
Splendid!
There were quite big waves, too.
This is the interior of the Souk.
We ended the afternoon at Dubai Creek to admire the sunset on Dubai’s skyline. We were having simple drinks at QD’s. There was a dragon boat race happening as well.
We then went to Dubai Mall to catch the fountains show.
It was so impressive that we waited for the second show, 30 minutes later. Arab and African music accompanied the water movements.
The day after was time to go home… Here are some views from the taxi…
Au revoir Dubai!
